Saugus Police responded to the crash at the Boston Market on Route 1 around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, Boston's Wicked North Shore said on Facebook.
According to police, Karina Orellana had to be pulled from her vehicle before she was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, Boston25 reports.
Further investigation determined Orellana was driving under the influence, the outlet reports. She was later charged with OUI-liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation, the outlet continued.
Saugus Police Chief Michael Ricciardelli said the crash is under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
